Delivery & Returns
Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within two working days. Orders placed at weekends or on bank holidays will be processed on the next working day.
UK orders are sent using Royal Mail or a courier, depending on the size and weight of the parcel. Delivery charges are calculated at checkout before you place your order. Current delivery options range from £2.25 for smaller parcels, with separate rates for heavier parcels, book clubs and school subscription orders.
Royal Mail orders usually arrive within 1–3 working days after dispatch. Courier delivery times may vary, and the available service will be shown at checkout.
International delivery is available to eligible destinations shown at checkout. The current standard international delivery charge is £12.99.
Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by postal delays or circumstances outside our control. If your parcel has not arrived when expected, please contact us at contact@smallprint-online.com with your order number.
Returns and cancellations
We hope you’ll love your order, but you have the right to change your mind about most online purchases.
Please tell us that you wish to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back.
Returned books and products should be looked after while they are in your possession and returned in a resaleable condition. Please package them carefully to prevent damage in transit.
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the return postage cost. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage.
Once your return has been received, we will refund the purchase price and the cost of our standard UK delivery option. If you selected a more expensive delivery service, the additional delivery cost will not be refunded. Refunds will be made to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Damaged, faulty or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@smallprint-online.com. Include your order number and, where possible, photographs showing the problem.
We will arrange an appropriate replacement or refund and reimburse reasonable return postage costs where the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect. Your statutory rights are not affected.
How to make a return

- Your order number
- The item you wish to return
- The reason for the return
We will reply with the return address and any relevant instructions.
