Today marked an important date in the Smallprint calendar; our first book workshop for kids and we were so thrilled with the response. It is no secret that we are massive fans of PatrickGeorge's revolutionary approach to publishing, brilliantly clever concept and super cool illustrations. If you don't know much about these books then think funny, intelligent, witty subject matters dealt with using magical transforming pages, what's not to love!?
When I first envisioned our book shop, I knew we would stock PatrickGeorge because our daughter has had these books since she was tiny. I am so excited to have met both Patrick and his wife Ann today and shared some of the magical, acetate love with a bunch of creative kids. It is really great seeing children shouting out their ideas and bringing these books to life, our lucky ticket-holders even had the chance to get their copy signed by Patrick himself!
